At Down to Earth Dining, it’s all about creating unforgettable moments. A passion for cooking and a gastronomic experience are at the heart of what we do.

Entirely vegetarian, we transform fresh ingredients into honest, high-quality dishes in a sustainable way. Our focus is on showcasing the Dutch nature, soil, and its harvest. Our goal is to let all ingredients grown in the Netherlands and its surroundings fully shine, while adhering to a zero-waste approach.

By using local ingredients, we are able to create value in an environmentally conscious way at all times. Dutch food culture is promoted through seasonal and healthy cooking.

Our dishes are presented in a four- to eight-course Chef’s menu, with the story behind each dish at the center. Enjoy carefully selected accompanying (non-)alcoholic drinks to complete the experience.

As former students of NHL Stenden hotel school in Leeuwarden, Reno Wiertz and Siebe de Roos discovered that their shared passion for entrepreneurship and hospitality brought them together to form Down to Earth.
